IQAir HealthPro Air Purifier Review

The IQAir HealthPro Air Purifier is a high end level air purifier perfect for any small office or home. On its highest setting it can cover 1100 square feet but is more effective in a smaller area. It is said to be the best air purifier out there for those who suffer from severe allergies and asthma as the system removes particles down to 0.01 microns with 99% efficiency.

It removes all types of particles and air pollutants including all common allergens with the exception of gas and odor filter (which is offered in the slightly more expensive IQAir Healthpro Plus). However, system has a spare compartment that can be upgraded with a V-5 Cell (wide-spectrum gas and molecular filter) to help with gas and odor removal. So this really is the best way to go.

How does it work?

The air is pulled into the system from the bottom, picking up all the particles in the process. The air is circulated through its advanced filtration system removing all the particles and pollutants. Once finished, the purified air is comes out of the top of the machine, filling the room with clean air. Nothing to it!
Here are a few things it will do for you:

Allergen control
•    Mold spore control
•    Pet dander control (cat, dog, etc.)
•    House dust mite allergen control
•    Pollen control

Complex air pollution control
•    General indoor air pollution control
•    Light tobacco smoke control
•    Wild-fire smoke control

The fan has six different speeds that can be programmed to run higher or lower at certain parts of the day. Also comes with a remote controller, filter life indicator, and a 5 year warranty.

So what’s the bad?

The few bad points of  the IQAir HealthPro Air Purifier are not in its performance but its Size and Noise level. This is no small little purifier that can be set anywhere. Its dimensions are 28x15x16 inches with a weight of 29lbs. Not massive by any means but on the large side. Plus the noise level of this unit when at max setting is quite loud. Not so much that it’s annoying but it’s noticeable. That can be remedied by running it high when everyone is gone or times when noise isn’t an issue.
